About Us

Hi, we're Tara, Vinnie, and Goldie, the humans and dog behind 12AM Intuition, a small queer-owned apparel and merch brand.
We're from the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. When we're not building our small business, we're walking with Goldie, cooking for friends, or plotting our next trip. Wherever we travel, our priorities are always the same: museums big and small, good food, and a real feel for local culture.
We share a deep love of music and are always hunting for the next HBS (Heater, Banger, Slapper, patent pending). We go to shows whenever we can. Nothing else gets under your skin or captures a feeling quite like music.
We weren't raised around money, but we were raised in the same tight knit community that showed us a kind of richness capitalism can't offer: care, connection, resourcefulness, and showing up for each other.
How 12AM Intuition started
When we started talking about this project, the only thing we knew for sure was that the name had to feel queer and witchy. After tossing around a gazillion ideas, Midnight (12AM) Intuition was born.
After years in corporate jobs that made us shrink ourselves to fit into systems that were never built for us, we wanted to try something different. A small queer-owned business built on joy, identity, and values that can grow and change as we grow and change.
We kept coming back to the things that make us feel most alive: queer events, outfits that spark gender euphoria, small businesses, weird thrift finds and community.
What we make
Vin loves all things design. Tara's brain runs on structure, flow, and getting things done. Together, we make queer apparel and merch that feels like a protest sign or a love letter. Sometimes both. Always queer.
We believe in collective liberation. None of us are free until all of us are. Small, queer-owned businesses like ours help build stronger communities, and we're proud to be one.
Thanks for being part of ours.
